& Wikis -
Powerful Web 2.0 Collaboration Tools
We hear about Skype in the news, and most of us have explored the now famous Wiki called Wikipedia. The question is, how can we use these and other powerful Web 2.0 collaboration tools to facilitate student collaboration outside of our classroom's walls? In this session, participants will explore features of PBWiki and Skype. The presenters will share ideas for using Skype and Wikis across the curriculum. The group will experiment with Skype and each participant will create his or her own Wiki. NOTE: ThisIL-TCE workshop is a 2.5-hour "Bring Your Own Laptop" session, and you must be pre-registered to attend. If you are registered, please be sure to downloand and install Skype before arriving at the workshop. Thanks!

We look forward to working with you!
Beth Pollock Burke and Laurie Korte
